I adopted Jack in October 2016. I was looking for a horse to drive and he was recommended by Nona. I stood in his stall petting him while Nona and I talked. He fell asleep during our conversation and I was sold by his sweet personality. I had five other horses at the time and I was amazed how well he got along with all of them. Even though he is the tallest horse, he is the least aggressive horse and is more likely to walk away than cause trouble. He has that mellow Standy personality. My husband and I drive him around our property and my son has ridden him. He is definitely more comfortable with driving than riding but I’m working on that.He is perfectly behaved for the farrier and the vet, which I attribute to good handling by his previous owners.
Thank you Carol for adopting!
