Bubba and Noelle

Update on Bubba (Ernest Ho) and Noelle

The following horses were adopted by our family:

Ernest Ho “Bubba” – Bay Standardbred.  Currently a trail horse.  Shown ridden by my daughter who was 7 at the time.

Noelle – Red dun Quarter Horse.  Pulled off a kill truck at New Holland and sent back to New Jersey after seeing her on the kill pen page.  Couldn’t have made it happen without Nona.  Pictures of her are from the kill pen page, shortly after her arrival with my then 7 year old daughter and neighbor and finally last summer.  Turns out she is kid safe and was sent to the pen due to some medical issues.  She has fibrotic myopathy which is too advanced to cure but she can still be ridden without it causing her pain, just moves short strided.  Had foundered just before we got her so it took a bit for her to be comfortable.  Regardless, she packs my kid around WTC in a hackamore and is very well behaved.
